G5X4...good for a 402?
Hey guys, I'm planing on running a G5X4 which I already have in my 402 that's being built....Will this cam complement my ETP 215's, ported Fast, and various bolt-ons in a 402?
Should I consider going bigger? I just wanted a nasty sounding cam that made good power through the range.
TIA

i had the x4 cam in my 346ci,it was great. a 402 can take more cam and still drive friendly on the streets. i'de look into something like a T.S.P giant cam 250+dur. you can get more power and still drive great. i'm having a custom ground cam for my 402ci something like a 250/258 will be in my block.

I would agree with mike c on this. I have the x4 too but wouldn't bother installing it in 400+ cube motor. It will definately make decent power but since you have more motor now you may as well step up the cam.
