you have to drop that car dude....i mean unless you have a 5" downpipe seriously put any kind of springs and it will look 10x better. I had stocks, went to sportlines, then back to hotchkis 1", they are the **** and ride awesome with minimal clearance problems... Either way its looking sweet

paint them calipers and your good to go!! Looks alot better. Those C5 wheels don't hide anything! Especially rusty rotors.

thanks for the replies...the problem with dropping the car is the crossover pipe is lower than the downpipe.i might be getting some suspension soon so well see about dropping it.I got the Y2k polished wheels used from floman on here.they came off a vette with like 20000 miles on it,they look pretty good for being used and costing like $550 and i got tires for free so it worked out nicely.I definitely noticed the weight difference, the Y2k's being lighter.Just put on the custom fuel rail covers too so its looking pretty decent.

Definitely like the new ones better, they look alot cleaner. I would get rid of the vette center cap tho and try to lower it if possible, but who cares if you can't bc you're turbo'd. Also sometime down the road painted rotors would be awesome. But it's still a real nice car, just some suggestions. Good luck.

I had those wheels on my old TA...chrome though. People either loved them or hated them...mine were only 8" wide though, so I got rid of them fairly quickly

I think they look alot better than your old C5s...and I always love to see something different that Z06/ZR1/C5/C6 wheels anyhow, as long as they are tasteful

on the list is either chrome or jet black lug nuts and polished center caps.My car doesnt like the 2 different wheel sizes so i need a taller front tire.i painted the rotors and calipers black but that was awhile ago so it faded, ill have to freshen that up.now im trying to decide on some good rear tires cause the ones on the car are gonna be trashed after the road course next weekend

I voted Y2K but it was real tough, either look real good. Lower it a bit not extreme and it will look real clean. Nice car. Oh and I wish I had a turbo

Looks 100 times better. Personally I don't like the c5's. It's about the most boring, basic wheel ever made and those look like they've seen better days. On the silver car the chrome y2k's would have looked better, nothing beats chrome wheels on a silver car, but either way it's a huge upgrade and you can't beat the deal you got.
