27" mt drag radial for 16" wheel?? somebody told me that mickey thompson is coming out with a 27" tire that will fit the stock firebird/camaro 16" wheels. i may be able to use the extra 1" of tire and plus they were susposedly a tad wider but not enough to not fit on the stock wheels with the added sidewall.
anybody know anything about this? my set of mt drag radials are almost gone and i'd hate to buy another set of the 26" 'ers if they are coming out with the new ones, but their website says nothing about them...(?)

page 9 looks like they are coming out with a 295/50 r16, not sure if i would mount it on an 8 inch rim though. and it's something like 27.4 inch's tall

I researched this a while back also. The 295's will NOT fit on an 8" rim. We need like a 255/55/16 or something we can run on the stock wheels. I plan on tryng the 255/50's in the spring, but would really like something a little taller.
