Default Switching from 1.7 to 1.8 rockers....PR change?

Guys,

I'm using 1.7 rockers right now on 7.350" PRs with no problems. If I switch to 1.8 rockers, do I need to change PRs?.....If anything, they would need to be shorter...right?...

Wholely dependent on the rocker and its design. For example, the Cranes are much shorter. What do you have and what are you going to, it will make a difference depending on your answer.

Correct. In your best interest to verify.

I switched from stock rockers to Harland sharp 1.8's. Stock length pushrods appeared to be correct although I had heard that they should be shortened up a bit. I consulted with Texas Speed on this and they said that after acheiving zero lash that it should take approx. 1.5 turns to get 22 ft-lbs. That's what it took. I haven't run the motor yet because of other problems, the result being - I am having the motor blueprinted. I tried 7.350's prior to this and they were too short.

One other item - the valve train geometry was right on the money with the stock 7.400 length, way off with the 7.350. Noisy with the 7.35 also.
