just like it says.... I've looked around a little and seen them from $220-400....

I've heard of a few guys running these with the C5R heads wondering if they will work on the L92 heads as well, might be a better option over the gmpp single plane.

Be prepared to spend some $$$. The SB2 intake has to be cut up and welded pretty good to be used. In the long run for a race motor this would be the way to go. I think ET may come out with a nice piece also.

Matt, what did you end up using on your new motor? i can get the 2.2 manifold for $210, how much we talking to get it to work on the L92s? I've looked around a bit but havn't really seen anything about an ET manifold... Someone also mentioned that Wilson may be making a single plane style manifold for these new heads but i havn't seen anything on that yet either.

Cutting and welding for the C5r heads yes. L92 heads it should be the same. You could probably get away with raising the floor of the runner on the intake with epoxy and re shaping it from there. Its a possibilty that it may be in the works somewhere already

who gives a **** Mike?? unless you have a price or exact info, knowing that someone else is doing it doesn't mean ****. We all know its not for anything you'll be paying for or using on your own personal stuff.

It will take alot of work to make it work. The only advantage that i recall is the ability to run larger carbs..... I dont think those runners line up? Isnt that manifold an oval port? Have you looked at EBay for some?

Here is a dumb question: C5R head intakes dont work with L92 heads, also L76 intakes dont work with C5R heads....... so how do you make the SB intake work?

the SB2.2 doesn't allow you to run a larger carb... it is designed for a 750 Holley that they run in Nascar.

I am using a Mopar intake on my new engine. I think it is edelbrock part #2916 or close to that. Not much differenty than an sb2.2, all Nascar stuff. I went with the as cast version so we can make it exactly the way we want. I would think you are gonna put $1000- $1500 to make it work. Eventually I'm sure Wilson and ET will both have Manifolds out but we all know that could take years and we wanna run now.
