Forced Induction - a quick question about prochargers

So my parents/grandparents are coming together to buy me something big for my car for graduation and at first i was thinking a H/C setup, but then i decided to go FI. Im in CA so smog is an issues and thats why i raise a question here...

Would the P-1SC-1 @ 7psi pass smog with stock exhaust/cats? I have headers w/ td's sitting in my room waiting to go on and i would run around with those on until it was smog day.

also do centrifugal charger whine? ive never heard one in person

i plan on trolling the FI section so i know alot more about it and dont have to ask stupid questions like this but i have to start somewhere

Im fairly sure that you would pass smog with the P1 at 7#'s, It mosly depends on the tune.
Yes they do whine but I dont know if the P1 is as loud as the D1.

The P-1SC and the P-1SC-1 blowers are carb approved for California.

they do make a little noise,but let me tell ya its SWEEEEEEEEEET!!!

I have the D1SC on my car and to be honest the only time it's really noticable is at idle....Especially if you're going to have a louder exhaust...

No the alternator is going out :devil: I love how loud mine is. My car gets tuned in 2 weeks can't wait to see some numbers
