Broke something..
Yesterday me and a friend lined up on a road to mess around. We started from a stop, I launched pretty easy cause I have sticky tires on it, and I wanted to give him a little edge off the line so I can punch it and fly by him. Had it at about 3/4 throttle and then layed into it at about 3500RPM. As soon as I did that, I heard a loud bang, he heard it also cause he was right along side of me, and then it was clanging and bucking back and forth. It felt like the Rear had busted, but it was still moving under it's own power. I got it to a stop, he came over and we looked underneath.
When it's in Drive, the Driveshaft doesn't spin at all, so that factored the Rear out of the problem. Then I got it to limp to my Storage place where I have my other car. It moved, and shifted normally the whole way there. I think it's somewhere in the Tailshaft, any ideas? It's a 4L60E.

The linkage is fine, it goes through all Gears. When I say it limped, it would catch inside and then it would move, clunking the whole way. If I was on it a little, it would clunk louder, letting it coast it clunked, but not too loud. It sounded like the Driveshaft was hitting something. It would move under it's own power, you could tell when it would catch inside on whatever broke. It shifted through the Gears fine when it was moving, it upshifted and downshifted with no problem. I think it's in the Tailshaft area.

actually since we pay the shipping to get it to us and all and since the cores are inexpensive anyway the cost for you to send yours would be the same as just buying one out right from us , Our typical cost to buy a core is 100 to 150 dollars , Our cost to ship yours to us is also 100 to 150 dollars , So unless you just want your original casing to use for some reason your better off just to order ours outright and its alot faster to if you ordered today you would probably ship mid week if not sooner, Where is you sent your in there would be no cost savings and you would add the 3-7 days in transit to the order time
