i dont think many people use these headers just because most people run long tubes. i have edelbrock's long tubes and love them

I have them, but they'll be for sale soon. They were a super easy install and I gained roughly 5-7 HP with them, but mostly what I liked is they made my car sound a lot more musclecar like. I trapped nearly 111 MPH with the mods in my sig, so they definitely helped out a bit. The only reason I am getting rid of them is I'm getting a FAST 78MM and longtubes because I plan on a heads/cam package this spring and i'll need the LTs to get the most power out of them. For a bolt on car, they work pretty well.

1998 & 1999s will gain those few HP. In 2000, the f-body got a better stock manifold good for about 5 hp.

a 00-02 gains no hp from shorty headers.

all the gains would come from the removal or changing of the catalytic converters.

I've had my Edelbrock shorties for about a year now. And opinion is...well....ehh. No power gain, but sure does look good under the hood. Don't use the gaskets that come with them, I had one desintigrate already where the header meets the cat on the passenger side. My tuner also gave me a bad time because he said he couldn't get my tune 100% because they aren't tuned length. Oh yeah, and the exhaust sounds a little deeper because of them...

a shorty header is a shorty header is a shorty header. Period dude. I'm not trying to "put him down" per say, it just gets ridiculous seeing these "anyone have XXX part" when you should know damn well it has been covered.
