Default What will it take to make a 65mm 18 x 10.5 inch wheel fit?

I've found some wheels that I want, but the offset says its a 65mm and the wheel guide states the biggest you can put on the rear is 50mm. What can I do to make these fit?

I fit an 18x10.5 +58mm Z06 repro on the back of my 2002 Z28 without any mods at all for whatever thats worth. The tire was a 295/35/18. It was CLOSE to the inner fenderwell, like less than 1/8" in spots.

do you think it's going to be hard to make them fit...I know many people have put the 58mm wheels on, but how about 65mm?

Well, I would think that the spots would have to be "massaged" 1/8" in spots. I've seen some cars running drag tire setups beat the %$##(% out of their inner fender wells, alot worse than I would think to be necessary to fit some 18x10.5 +65mm would require, but thats just a guess, no hard evidence to back up my assumpions.

Good luck, Shawn

Best bet is a spacer/adapter, to get 65 mm offsets to fit . . . 1/2" to 3/4" is doable.

that's what I was wondering, if I would need spacers or not.
