Low oil Pressure I just did a cam swap on my 2005 corvette and when the car idles it has about 4-7 psi of oil pressure. When i drive in overdrive at about 2000 rpm i have about 30 psi of oil pressure. Can anyone please give me and idea of what the problem may be..All help is appreciated

Well i pulled everything apart and i looked at my oil pump and the o-ring wasnt on the pick up tube so im in the process of putting that on. Do yall think i could have harmed the motor any? Another question i had was if i should use 5w 30 insead of 10w 30
