Default Interior Update (Pics): Seats, Rollbar, etc...

Well, they aren't the best pics (lost my old camera bought a cheap $100 replacement) and the interior isn't detailed but they are better than nothing...

My Mad Racing Seats are installed (for questions on price, installation, etc... do a search under my name and you'll find the install thread), matching rear seats (well, sort of matching) from a 1996 Z28, satin black roll bar and temporary door panels (I recovered my cloth ones myself untill a find a set I want to buy) are all in

My interior led's are in as well but the camera does them no justice

Anyways, here we go, ENJOY

Here's some of my system (nothing too crazy):

JL Audio Stealthbox and Sub:

Amp (mounted on the opposite side from the sub but obviously out of the way of the t-tops):

In-Dash DVD/TV Tuner/AM/FM/CD player:

and, since I don't think I ever posted a pic, the hidden Nitrous bottle in place of the spare tire:

Another rollbar pic:

The carpet and mats will be replaced with Ebony, the interior panels will be replaced with charcoal from a 1993-1996 Z28 (including that style leather door panels) and then the console and other trim pieces (A/C vents, gauge surround, etc...) will be replaced with ebony as well (already replaced the back seat belts, the fronts are next).

When I do all that I will pull the rollbar back out and re-paint it with POR-15 and re-do my seat brackets (use a manual set so that it will sit lower)...

I'm done for a little while though, get a little burned out after a month of messing with it... So what do you guys think?

I love it but if I had to do it over I would get the Double DIN Jensen (it's touchscreen and is like $500 from sonicelectronix)... Double DIN just looks so much cooler and it has GPS options

Dude, so nice man, I love your interior that looks great. Have you considered a 5 point harness for your seats? I always thought that would be sweet

Looks great! I cant believe how much nicer than stock those seats look, and the roll bar was a nice touch.

I cant wait to see that hood painted!

What is POR-15 and what roll bar is that? I know what you mean about getting burned out from working on the Camaro so much! When are you planning on painting the hood? Oh, and I don't remember where you got those aluminum pedal covers?

It is a chip resistant paint... No immediate plans to get the hood painted. I want to finish the interior first then finish off the exterior.

Which will include changing the Koni DA's over to SA's so I can do the lower perch mod in the front which will raise it back up slighty and I will then feel comfortable re-painted the bumper and getting the hood done at the same time.

I don't much care for the electrical tape holding the seatbelt loops onto the seats...why didn't you just put the seatbelts through the outside holes in the seats?

The rollbar really needs some pads, especially for a street car. I know they look aweful but I've seen a few paded and wrapped in leather...

Otherwise car looks amazing and is one of my favorite Camaros.

Yeah that's temporary untill I make a decision... I have a custom made leather strap that would do the same thing the electrical tape is doing but look a lot nicer and if I ever wanted to go with harnesses it is a non-permanent solution...

I also have devised a way to mount the holder to the seat the same way it is on a stock seat. Thise would be permanent though and I am still undecided.

Through the seat's holes is incredbily uncomfortable BTW...

Yeah bro, I didn't even think of that. Forget the new paint and just wrap the roll bar w/ pads. It is extremely dangerous unwrapped and in a street car especially. Better safe than sorry...

It's a 4pt. and my seat is such that it would be impossible for me to hit it (I know, it doesn't look that way in the pictures)... Dropping the seat would make it that much safer but I will probably pad the top nonetheless...

Oh, it looked like you can hit from the side. Guess your right though.

When I first saw that you had the seat belt holders on your car I was like that awsome. You got them mounted. But now that I noticed the black tape. I couldnt help but laugh.

Quick question, why did you keep the rear seats and go so far as to get different ones after puttin' the rollbar in?
