Thud/Bangin when making a turn

Thud/Bangin when making a turn When I make a right turn or a left turn from a dead stop and give it alittle extra gas to merge or get out in the lane quick I hear, feel aand hear a series of thuds coming from either about center of the car or near the back.
My shifter doesn't bounce or have any play in it so I'm thinking my trans mounts are fine and I can't see anythign loose when I'm under there. Anyone got any ideas?
