Corvette Performance - C5 Hood?

Anyone ever seen any of the carbon fiber hoods on a vett? I was just looking for something diferant, but i dont know anyone who has a cf hood on a vett. I saw a few on ebay, look nice but who knows what you might get from on there? lol


If anyone knows anything first hand about these i would like to hear your opinions.

I havn't seen them in person but they look good for the price!

Yea, great price, but what are you gone get when you open the box at home? Do they fit good? How do they hold up? Some CF hoods are too flimsy too. So until i find someone who actualy has one, im not gona bite.

Have one , motor city mold , not cheap but a nice piece.

usually those inexpensive ones need to be fitted and possibly shaved to fit properly, you'd be better of spending the big bucks on a carbon peice that fits right... I thought the 04 z06 commemorative edition had a carbon hood... then again the stock hood is super light to begin with, you'd be better off spending $$ on light weight racing wheels and see a difference...
