Default how long for break in????

I am getting my gears installed within the next few weeks. I was just wondering how long it will take to break them in...

6-8 (I say 8-10, but what do I know) complete temperature cycles.

It has nothing to do with milage, other than each temperature cycle equates to roughly 25-30 miles one way. Let it cool to ambient and start the next cycle.

It would be like driving to work 25-30 miles one way... letting it cool to ambient while at work and then... driving it home. That is 2 cycles a day... or about a week for you 9-5ers.

Then... be nice to it for another 500 miles.

no, i really gave it hell today too lol...for a car that HAD just boltons and 2.73 gears in the rear, its like a night and day difference now. it used to be a dogggg out of the hole....today, i went wot at about 30mph and went sideways. i love it already. the guy only did a quick little tune today cuz we ran out of time too. cant wait til we really get it dialed in, i dont think 12s are gonna be a problem AT ALL
