Default Vig 2800 flash/extension

Does anyone know what this converter will flash to, and its typical shift extension?

That should flash to 3200 rpm's. I would think the shift extension would be around 4500 rpm's for that size converter.

Yeah what Darren said. The vigs are way underrated. Your power level will play a huge role in the stall and shift extension. I would guess a H/C car to flash to 3400-3500 and the Shuft extension to land around 4800-4900. That's just a guestimation, but i'll give you an idea. Good luck man!!

I've got one sitting in my basement ... I bought it used as a back-up in case I had problems with my TCI (so far none). I was thinking of swapping it in, but not if it's going to be about the same as my TCI.

My TCI 3000 only flashes to about 2600, according to EFI Flashcan ...

In my car it flashes to 3000 (logged w/ HPT) and won't dip below 1.7x sixties. Full bolt-ons, F13 cam, full weight leather and T-top car, minus spare tire, jack, and front sway bar.

It did well when my car was stock, but a new converter is the next item on my shopping list.
