Default LS1 in a 1965 Mustang...

...anybody know if it will fit? I did a search on here and all I find are Fox body Mustangs. I would like to do it with a 4L60E and it will be used as a street/strip car.

They are pretty narrow under the hood, i am sure you would have to notch the shock towers at least and then i am not even sure. 351w barley fits.

The LS1 is only .5 inches wider at the widest point than a 302. Should fit any where a 302 fits.
