Default Throttle body question

The stock LS1 tb are what? 78mm? The inlet on the intake is 78mm on the LS6 intake right?

I have a ported ls1 tb on my car right now. Love it.

I have been reading and it seems that the older 4.8/5.3l gm trucks came with an 80mm tb stock.

So would one of those, ported, flow more then the ported ls1 tb?

Or would you still be limited by the intake diameter?

I believe the inlet on the ls6 intake is 78 mm. The larger truck TB will be limited by the inlet diameter on the intake. So you're prob not going to get a whole lot of gain.
