Default 8.1L whipple supercharger

hey guys, my g/fs dad has a chevy crew cab duel wheel truck. its got and 8.1L with a whipple super charger. he bought it liek that. and the supercharger isnt aliened properly and keeps throwing belts. about every 1,000 or so miles it will throw the belt and take out the alt belt as well. has any1 herd of this or experianced this? need to fix it asap. thanks.

Have you looked around for more pullies for it? Perhaps with different back spacing?

its a whole kit some1 put on the truck for the truck. should i call whipple and ask them about it. it seems like the hole unit is tilted a bit.

Have you looked into shimming it a bit to see if it will align it??

I see know reason not to call whipple and ask them about it, I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.

Try the truck section of this forum. There is a lot of useful info to be had. BTW, getting actual help from whipple will probably be about as much fun as jacking off with sandpaper.
