How Much For '69 Camaro Roller/Project Body?
Figured I would post in here....
What is a reasonable price for basically just the body without a tranny/motor, etc. I've been looking around, it seems that nothing really goes under $7k. I would have just expect around 2-3k.

I just checked ebay for a 69 and there are a lot of fraudulant listings right now. There are a lot of cars with extremely low buy it now prices and all are new/unregistered users with 0 feedback. Here is a good example and there are many more like it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-...QQcmdZViewItem

Well I just sold my 69 RS roller last month. It had a straight body, stock 10 bolt under it on junk wheels. It has the suspension under it so it would roll.
Car had no interior in any way, no glass, no trim, no grill/front end parts NOTHING. It was about as bare shell as you can get. The paint job was of maaco $500 value and noone would keep, it was a definate need repaint car.
It sold for $7500 in 1 hour on craigslist. I should of asked more.

I have a complete 69 x44 camaro body, clear title that will be available within 2 months. I am building the body now. Has doors and front cap, trunk lid in epoxy primer ready to start body work. All the metal work is being finished now. No drivetrain, interior, suspension or glass. This is not a repro body.

A friend of mine was looking for a while for a reasonably priced starting point, and ended up buying a clean rolling chassis 67 with no interior at all for $10K. All solid original rockers, floor and trunk pans, rear window area, just a little rust at the bottom of the 1/4s. The guy selling it had listed it the same day.

well whats happening with muscle cars has happend in the past with model T fords... original restored Ts were going for big bucks 20 years ago... problem bottom of the market kinda fell out becuase they guys who wanted them started dying... to some extent we will see the same thing with the muscle cars, but not as bad. it wont be as bad because younger generations still appreciates muscle cars.. but i do forsee a stalling out of these inflated prices for muscle cars.
