Temp sender install, damn 1/8" NPT How many of you would buy a M12x1.5 thread temp sender instead of having to deal with the 1/8" NPT that is typically supplied with aftermarket temp gauges?

i just bought an adapter for it to fit if your talking about the spot in the pass side head to tap a temp gauge. i think i got it at autobarn.com or something.

I don't think the adapters allow it to stick in far enough to get an accurate reading. If there was a 20.00 one available I would go for it. Does anyone else feel the same way?
