Default Will not take fuel

Anyone have this problem? 2nd time this has happened. 1st time I had to pour about 2 gal. of gas before gas tank would take fuel. This time It wont even take gas out of a can. Both times I let the tank get below 1/8 . SES came on and its a fuel vapor code. Thanks.

I've had a problem a couple times over the years getting fuel in from a station pump, just pulled the nozzle in and out a couple times, then took fuel. Sure you already know it's not nice to the fuel pump to let it get below 1/8. What's the SES code?

Have not checked it this time. Its been about 6 months from the last. Ill see if I can find out what code number it was or is. Fuel just fills the neck up and wont drain into the tank.

I've noticed a premature cutoff on the new pumps on several cars. If you compress the bellows and push down slightly at an angle it'll work (at least for me it does). I also heard you can turn the nozzle completely upside down too - never tried this though.

With a gas can slowly pouring it in..It fills the neck up and wont drain into the tank. One reply pointed me in a possible direction. Evap on fuel rail bad. Just the parts house does not know what it is. Thanks though.

If it has a evap code then the evap tank vent solenoid is stuck closed and not allowing the air to escape from the tank while you are filling it with fuel which will cause slow fill times and the gas stations pumps to shut off to prevent fuel overflow.
