Exclamation clutch master cylinder dosnt engage all the way

like the title says, my clutch master cylinder dosnt engage all the way, my mechanic said since i did the conversion from a4 to m6 something isnt realy aligned in the pedals, so when step on the clutch pedal and the master cylinder rod goes down it dosnt go down all the way from what i was told and that why i have to kind of force into gear, but not to much, just an extra push, i want to fix cause my friend said its gonna mess up my synchros, what can i do to fix this, and is the adjustable master cylinder an answer to my problems ?

What year clutch pedals did you use when you did the conversion? LT1 clutch pedals look the same but their pin, that the master cylinder rod hooks onto, is in a different position.

There is a thread on here, (somewhere) that has a picture of the two types. The pin on the LT1 pedals is back farther on the clutch pedal. It's not much but it would affect the amount of rod movement on the master. If you like, I have a set of LT1 pedals that I can take a pic of and email to ya. Don't know if that will help you tho...

Yep, I would bleed it. Have you checked to see if the clutch fully engages? Was it bench bled? Are you sure you are not getting full travel from it?

not sure about full travel, but i was told when u buy a slave and a clutch master from the dealer they come prefilled and prebleed, thats what my mechanic told me, so he bleed it just to make sure when it was installed , but still after that same issue, i doubt its the sychros cause when the car is off the gears just fly in when i move the shifter around

well today i tried the the mity vac, i did manage to pull some bubbles out of the system, the shifting feels better, i almost made a mistake instead of pressing on the pressure relief valve i pulled out the hose with the adapter from the reservoir and it started to suck all of the fluid out lol, but luckily i pulled it out fast enough before it took out all of the fluid, this is a good investment overall thnx for ur help guys
