Question Can I use a 01 LS1 Throttlebody on a 98 LS1?

Well my 98 is my daily driver and the Throttlebody is drilled and is throwing a code. My 01 SS just basically sits in my driveway. Is it ok to use the throttlebody off of my 01 on my 98 until I find a new one? I know there are differences on 98-99 and 00-02 but i don't know the differences thanks!

the cams or where the throttle cable attaches are different sizes.
