Default 60 ft. times Track Guys??

For you guys that go to the track alot, what are the average 60ft. times for M6's? I always hear that stalled autos produce better 60ft times, but I still see 1.7 - 1.6 60ft times with stall autos. However, I have seen 1.5 and lower 60ft times on stripped stalled a4's with suspension mods and high horsepower.

Unless you have a well modified suspension and a drivetrain that can handle a lot of abuse, as well as a clutch that can hold the power, an M6 car will usually 60 FT 2 tenths or so slower than a stalled auto, from what I have seen. However, since they're more efficient, they make up for it on the top end. Figure on stock suspension with a good rearend and clutch, you could probably see a 1.7-1.8 60 FT on an M6.

I have about 400 rwhp, and the best I could do was about a 2.16, if i remember right. I think i normally can do about a 2.2, but thats a pretty much stock suspension, and stock (all season 245) tires.

i've got some 1.80-1.82 on 315 Nittos on stock suspension (track hooked really good) and i've gotten some of the same times on MT DRs with full rear suspension (at a track that i'm not as familiar with).
375/378 rwhp/tq with some bolt-ons and a hotcam.

Last night I got a 1.71 60' on M/T ET Streets with all the mods in my sig. I was dumping it between 5000-5500, what was going to be my last run of the night I launched, got about 6 feet and twisted my driveshaft in half, it would've easily been a 1.6 60' the way it hooked...

I pulled a hand full of 1.66 -1.69 60 ft's on motor today but should have been better. I think my stock shocks are worn out.

1.62 on a 75 shot leaving at 5000 and all the motor passes were leaving at 6200 +

i cut a 1.83 on my stock suspension stock 10 bolt 3.42's with a centerforce clutch on 17inch m/t dr's. my ls6 clutch sucked so i put the centerforce in and it made a huge difference. i launched at 4-4500 dump, it def. had alot more in it too because it bogged.

1.6x is not good for a stalled auto. 1.4x is where it is decent but you see 1.3x out of autos set up right.
