I currently have a 2001 Camaro SS, with the stock monsoon system. The door speakers are both blown, and i'm considering replacing the speakers, and adding a sub. I'm looking at possible options.
I am thinking about getting a 10" stealth enclosure from subthump, but i'd like to know what sub to get with it
I also need to know what kind of speakers to get, as well as an amp.
Also, is it possible to use the stock monsoon HU as a radio/cd player (and also because it already works with the steering wheel controls).. but pass the signal off to the amp and run the speakers off of that, for a nice stock look, with improved sound? Or is the stock HU really bad quality wise?
I am very into sound quality, and not so much pure power. As long as I can hear the music clearly with the t-tops off, I'm good.
I'm also wondering about rear fill.. I think I would like some speakers in the rear, even though it's recommended against.. if I wanted them, what should I get, and should I put them in the hatch or in the sails?
I'm also wondering how much this would run me. I'm looking for affordable quality. Thanks.
