Default Poor Poor tranny, don't think it'll last much longer

Well Now I'm making some damn good power, so much that even with BFG 315 Drag Radials my car won't hook up. I dropped the air pressure to 28 lbs and it still set em up in smoke. I was sitting at here at work wondering just how much abuse this stock 137,000 mile 4L60-E can take. So far it hasn't slipped or acted up not one time but I think it's life is near the end. What do ya'll think? After reading over the Lifespan thread I started a while back it seems most of our auto's die before the 150,000 mile mark. Oh, my torque management was deleted with the tune and shift point's were moved up to 6200 RPMs too.

Can't help you with how long the trans is going to last. However, 28psi on a DR is on the high side. Drop the pressure to 18-20 psi for a run and you should see a very noticeable improvement.

Yessir!!! Ill roll the BFG DR's at about 18 or so, from a light roll i can still break them loose but from a dead stop its hook and go!

My stock tranny didnt make it much past 50,000.

You've got the same set-up as me minus the stall converter so you know how easy it is to break these tires loose. I'll drop the pressure a little more then to 18 and see how it does. Hopefully my tranny can hold out another couple months..
