Tools for gear swap
Maybe I shoulda posted this in the tools section, but I figured more people would see it here. Im gonna do a gear swap in my 10 bolt and Im just wondering what inexpensive tools or makeshift tools everyone uses to pull and press bearings on the carrier and pinion. I already have the other setup tools such as dial indicator and all that stuff, but I dont have access to a shop and a press anymore so just wondering what works good for everyone. I dont want to throw down a lot of money on tools I wont be using very often. I also would like to keep the pinion bearing in good shape so I can reuse it to check pinion depth. Also what do you use to install the new races??
Thanks
