Gears & Axles - rear end going out?

things breaking on my car is getting old fast...anyways when im driving i here like a clanking noise while im in gear and when im out of gear and just coasting it still makes noise but not as bad i can defanatley tell its from the rear of my car...could my rear end be going ou???? i hope not i cant afford this anymore

when mine went out there was a popping noise on left turns but was fine when going straight. sounds like its a good possibility on yours tho.. maybe someone else has had a similar expirence as you.
