Default Spark tuning

At wide open throttle I have the main spark advance table set to 27 degrees. I am only getting 23-25 degrees. I am wondering if it is the spark correction tables ( iat, ect, afr) are what is making the differece?

D you think that it would be ok to zero those tables out when at the strip, to sort of lock the timing down?
