Default Do I need a MAFT?

Well, I may pick up a MAF Translator along with a cam kit this summer (Torquer V3) and wanted to know if I really need one? I know I can adjust the a/f ratio with it and want to know if I really need one if I am going to get the car tuned after the install anyway.

Short answer, no. The days of MAFTs pretty much died when tuning software hit the market.
