Question How much will 4.10s cost?

i already did a search on it couldn't find much, i have a third gen but i have currently a 4th gen rear end in and thats why im posting here i have 3.42s right now and it just isn't what i want i want 4.10s i'm pretty sure i need a whole new rear end for that, will it bolt right up just like my 4th gen one did? if so how much for the rear end and i will be putting it in myself. any questions feel free to ask thanks

4th Gens never came with 4.10's

you can buy the gears and have them installed for around $500 then you will just have to find speedo gears at that point

is int it better to just buy a whole new rearend because i read in the sticky's of the this thread that upgrading the 4thgen stock reared isn't worth it when you can pay a little more and get a 9 inch or 12 bolt. thats what i meant sorry i don't know much about gears or rear ends n thats why i'm here

$2500 for a 12bolt or a 9" opposed to $500 for a gear swap isnt exactrly "a little more" if you ask me, but if you have the means, I highly reccomend picking one up

Install the gears yourself and you'll have what you want for about 200 bucks.
