Default New SS Lid Design

Ok guys, I have been working on a way to dress up the engine compartment a little bit and a better looking air lid for a while and here is what I have come up with. This is the prototype for the SS camaro. No hood clearance problems on the SS from this. I have both stock 75mm MAF and 85mm MAF available. As well as Custom paint jobs and/or Basic/solid paint jobs to match the color of the car. Otherwise they are just shiney/smooth Black. Tell me what you guys think?

you may wanan watch out for the ban stick not being a sponsor and all.

but I hate that damn stick so im gonna comment before you get the lockdown.

IF I needed an air lid or even ahd an SS for that amtter I wouldnt get it. some people may like it but its a bit cheesy to me.

I just go toff the phone with Wes about the "being a sponsor" thing. I'm sure he'll pull the pricing portion of his thread and turn it into more of a "I made something diffrent" thread. He's looking for constructive criticism, so let him know what you think about the looks. I'm sure if the "scoop" potion deteres buyers, it could be made flat. The good thing is, is that it is avalible in 85mm, which can be a hassle to get now days.

I'm NOT in favor of it either. It does not appear to serve any other purpose other than looks.

I atleast give you props for coming up with something different. It would be cool to pop the hood and not see SLP for once.

It's not intended to serve any other purpose other than looks. A lid is a lid, if you can set yours apart, you may get someone to purchase yours rather than another. That's why he took a diffrent approach.

Thanks for the replies guys and thats cool some of you guys dont like it too. I was looking to just get a feel for what you guys thought. I wouldnt do anything to get me bannned and I would for sure become a sponsor before I sold. I was just looking for a lil criticism as Beast said! The scoop doesnt serve as anything other than looks. the WS6 one is in the works as well. Some people like different looks under the hood some dont. Thanks again!!

interesting design.....not sure I'd pay that much for it, though i'd think about paying $70 or so for it since I have a cool idea on show to paint it....

You can keep the pics posted, but remove any and all references to selling these until you are a sponsor...

Sorry guys about the breaking of the rules. I wasnt tryin to sell anything. I was posting the price and giving an idea of in the future putting up a group sell. I put prices as that is what most people tend to look at before a purchase. I was just putting it out there so that I could get opinions on if it would sell or not. Thats all. Sorry bout that FrceFed just got your PM.
