Does it make since that I got 7.250 length pushrods with my cranecams roller rocker arm kit and not pushrods that are 7.400 length????? Are they supposed to be 7.250???

Did your kit come with Crane roller lifters?

Yes they use a shorter pushrod..... Make sure you set them up EXACTLY as described on vinci's site.

No one knows what pushrod you need unless they are setting up your stuff themselves. The cam's base circle, the lifters, the valve length, the rockers used and if the heads or block are milled will all change the pushrod length needed.

+1 for this answer. 7.250 is correct length for there rocker set up, unless milling of the heads, milling block surface, or a drastic change in head gasket thickness has been done, your pushrod length will have to change. i have installed several of there kits, and pushrod length is very cruical with there rocker set up, so you can achieve the proper preload.

My heads and everything else is bone stock on the motor, I talked with Cranecams today and the guy said that he didn't know why they set those pushrods with the kit. He did say that he would get back to me tomorrow??? When I talked with summit they said that I won't know what pushrod length until it's all assembled and then I would have to measure with an adjustable pushrod. Man, they made it sound so easy when I purchased everything, Anybody can do it.... what have I got myself into...
