Default SO..... extremely satisfied GMMG customer right here!!

after buying the catback on the GP, I've finally got it installed tonight... just running on stock manifolds/cats/y-pipe but still, I'm damn thrilled...

stock clip - cold start, still have my air system and unfortunately it pops more now that I've installed a lid and put a filter on the air hose... but, meh. Also, battery died during recording, but as I hadn't had time to do another one, i took it straight to the shop after work.

I thought the GMMG was the chambered exhaust. That looks like a big muffler in the back. Does GMMG make more than one type?

If I were going the catback route, there would be no contest. GMMG is more than worth it.

Hell yeah! Kick *** catback! I rocked the stock manifolds/cats/GMMG for about 10 months. Get some longtubes and it will open up big time. In a few months I'm gonna test the whole Cam + Longtubes + Catted Y + GMMG and see what happens. I'm chompin' at the bit to say the least.

well, my plans so far are to put the exhaust on hold, I need to do some shocks, sways and rotors, then get my windshield replaced before I do anything else... that group of things alone will be about a grand (windshield is $100, brakes $200ish, shocks/sways $700+ ) ... after that, its stainless LT's, custom fabbed Y-pipe with cats, and I'd like to honestly do tubular k-member/upper&lower arms ... but if I purchase those parts they'll probably just sit around, because since I'll be making it far easier on myself to drop the engine, I may just do heads/cam when the time comes ...

so much to do, so many ways to do it, just not enough money to do any of it...
first and foremost though I want the suspension to be capable of handling what I want to throw at it... which also includes torque arm/crossmember and new poly tranny mount... so that has to be added along the way somewheres as well... in the middle I guess.

see what happens when you lot make me think!?
argh!

I just put my GMMG on my car yesterday too! God I love it!! So mean sounding. I am on stock manifolds and y-pipe as well. My only problem is that the I pipe is hitting against the rear passenger floorboard or actually vibrating against it. Seems to have gotten worse the more I drive it. Anyone else had any problems? I tried searching but could only find threads like this that just shows they got it.

Undo your clamps and try to adjust the system slightly. Mine did something similar at first except it was hitting the axle, not the floor.

I had stock manifolds/cats/gmmg catback. definitely sounds nice. i added pacesetters and off road y and now its a raspy **** above 2200 rpm. I think im gonna make a i-pipe with cutout then a bullet muffler then thru the GMMG.
