Default Coolant, Brake Fluid? How often do you change it?

Just like it says, my brake fluid is nasty and I know I need to change the coolant, just wondered how often everyone does their fluids.

If you are driving those shitty GM products, all that **** leaks out all the time.

So all you have to do is keep it full and you are practically changing it monthly.

I don't have that problem

Unlike other people on here i try not to trash talk. I change my brake fluid every 1 to 2 years depending on the color. I guess the same with my coolant and so on. That's just me though. Like to keep everything fresh.

Every 1-2 years? Geez. I've got 5 and a half years and almost 53k on my car and never even touched the brakes other than checking pads and getting pissed off at warped rotors. As far as coolant goes, I keep messing with the car so it just gets changed cause it's drained every now and then. Don't worry bout your coolant now Mike, you'll get new coolant when the new cam goes in!

Hey, just giving my opinion. Might be a little overboard but it keeps the car running well with over 175000 miles. It's not facts. Just letting him know what i do. That was the question right?

Brake fluid after every road race Actually you're supposed to flush the brake system once a year. Most people do it when they replace the M/C haha !

I did mine when I rebuilt my calipers, ~55k. Not sure if it had ever been changed before that, it looked pretty gross.
