Diagnostic Port not working......
I tried to connect my diagnostic scanner to my trans am and nothing happens. I connected it to my '06 Dakota and it connects like it should. What could have happened? I swapped batteries and the ignition relay due to the gauges sweeping and a no start situation. Everything appears to be working as it should: ie gauges, diagnostic lights, etc. So why doesn't the port work? any ideas? Is there a way to check wires at port with a multimeter? Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry. Yes, it's the 30th T/A. The fuse did the trick. Thank you for the time and accuracy. Now, i've found code P1415. The haynes manual doesn't list this code as well as the manual for the scanner. Any ideas? I don't like that this information doesn't seem to be readily available. Thanks again.

Thanks all. I found the DTC links. Now I have some testing to do tomorrow. Once again, thanks. It's great to be able to find help at this hour.

The car is still stock, aside from the free mods. I have 75000 on her and I'm just trying to keep her right for now. I also have an 88 GTA that i play with. Would it help to tune a stock LS1? I've already dyno'd her.
