I'm trying to remove the locked automatic shifter & console from a 98 T/A parts car with no dash, key or ability to power the shifter locked in "park". I have not purchased a manual on this car since I'm just using a few parts from an already scavenged car. Any tips on tripping the shifter lock or otherwise removing the shifter & console going into my 2nd Gen Camaro (with 2002 LS1 A4 going in) would be appreciated. Also, does the T-handle come off the shifter?
