Default Throwout bearing, where to get one and whats the PN?

What is the part number of the stock throwout bearing? Where can I find one in stock?

Thanks

I've found them at parts stores (usually Timken), but I never got one. The last slave I ordered during my last clutch swap had a different design throwout bearing on it than the one I removed...not sure why the design change was implemented, or if it transfered over to the aftermarket manufacturers. Not really helpful, but something you might want to know...

Just go to your local Chevy dealer, go to the parts counter, bend over, point to your *** hole, and tell them you'll take a new throwout bearing "right here" (while pointing to your *** of course). I'm sure they'd oblige...

A brand new slave comes with a throw out bearing on it. I think Byun has 'em pretty cheap. The bearing alone, from the dealer, is almost as much...

I dont think so, my buddys slave came with a dummy piece in there. I dont think they have the bearings on them anymore (he called up Young and he said that they didnt either)

Really? Damn...that was the only reason I ever bought the whole slave assembly (because they came with a new throwout bearing on them). That's pretty gay...

hmmm... I just got a brand new slave (GM PN: 18037524) from byunspeed and it appears to have the throw out bearing on it.... How do you tell if it's a dummy or not ?

Well...I'm hoping that's not a dummy part, because that's exactly what it is in my car right now. Guess it would have blown up long ago if that was the case...

You woudl know if it is wrong, you will start to puke clutch fluid and then the car wont be able to go in and out of gear. I guess he got screwed then. Mine have always come with it, his was just a plastic piece, zero metal.
