Default got my cam for my 408, GT47-88 build

i called up ls1speed and told them all the specs on the build and this is the cam they spec'd out for me.

236/236 578/578 112.5 lsa
i know there are always threads asking what FI cam to go with.

hopefully this one will work out for me.

Who specd the cam and what size and flange/ AR housing are you using......
you might see some nasty reversion with that tight an lsa and a big single.... backpressure is a power killer.

236/236 should provide great driveability with 408ci and make gobs of power.

I'm building an iron 364 L76 using a hybrid TV81/71 with a .96ar T6 housing. I'm going with the 224/224 .581 .581 on a 112LSA. 11 degrees of overlap with your 408 should work ok so long as backpressure stays low with a big wastegate.

i'd have to agree.

everyone thought they were crazy when they put a 236/242 112lsa (if i remember correctly) cam in their turbo shop car. "that's too tight of an lsa for a turbo motor." blah blah blah

car ran 8's w/ a relatively small hydrualic cam. i'd say Jim knows what he's doing.
