EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!! Please look at post number 8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The car: 01 TA WS6 M6

The current mods
Hypertech
Pacesetter headers and OR y pipe
hooker catback
TR55 plugs
Taylor wires
smooth bellow
SLP lid kit (the one with the lower scoop and all
Larger MAF, not sure what one at this time.

Possible future mods

The internals of the engine are ALL stock.

http://www.ls1speed.com/catagory.cfm...in%20/%20Heads

Off that link recommend a cam, springs, and set of rockers. Without trying to break the bank. Whatever is best for NA applications, with the possibility of nitrous in the future..

Thanks!

I Have pretty much the same setup, and going with a 224/244 112lsa cam with Comp 918 springs and pushrods. I'm going back with the stock rockers.

I picked this setup cuz my car is a DD.

There are no real goals, he just wants some more power. This isnt a track car at all. Obviously not looking for something that needs replaced every 30-40k miles.

for the cost...you're better off buying a cam with more lift designed in than using a small lift....high ratio rocker arm compatible....cam and rockers.

most cams that are compatible with high lift rockers are in the .525 range...while you can get similar duration cams with .58-.590" lift built in.

save yourself the $400

375rwhp go with something like the TR224 cam
400rwhp go with something bigger like the TSP torquer or FM 13 or 14

Ok, so we want to go with that package, The torquer v2 cam, what LSA should be chosen?

And then with these rockers, 1.7 or 1.8?

Thanks.

unless there is something wrong with your stock rockers you do not need to replace them. The stock rockers are 1.7 and I would not recommend anything more than that unless you want to get crazy with it, which you don't. I would get the smallest LSA possible, it will give you more power lower in the RPM range where you can have fun with it, nitrous will give you more than enough top end.
