I have built a few when Billingsley was producing them, they are a very nice product.

They are the same ones Billingsley was selling. We were the fabricating partner for them. Only now you get them direct..That all.. The only difference is you call us now and not Billingsley..

At what power level should you switch from a standard Strange housing to this one? What advantages does the Fab 9" give you?

The Fab 9 is just a stonger piece. You can really abuse them with Power.
I have seen guys with 1000 HP use 12 bolts..They don't last long under them conditions though..

What's the weight on one of those complete? Or any weight you could offer like housing versus 9" aluminum center section housing or something...

And you can't beat the totsie rolls in the spring cups... If i buy one they better some with it!

I'm curious to know the same. We've already covered the fact that they are stronger...any other advantages? Lighter? Any disadvantages to running one in a street car?

They are heavier than a 12 bolt. In our testing the ring gear is the weak spot in a 12 bolt. The 9 in has a better ring gear lay out. The 9in weights in the 170lbs area complete with brakes. Really in a nut shell there just as you said, stonger, better design as far as abuse goes. In a street car to me its the way to go. But my definition of a street car my be different from everyone else..1000hp 2 kits and so on..lol

I was curious about the pros and cons of a regular 9" housing versus a fabricated 9".
