Intake Opinions needed on stock motor
Hey guys,
I have a 98 LS1 Motor, that I am doing a swap into my LT1 car. Speartech is doing the harness, etc...to make it a plug-n-play deal...
Obviously from what I read, and hear the 98 is the Bastard child of the LS motors...
Right now the motor is just gonna be bolt-on's with a tune headers, and exhaust. Possibly a nitrous kit....
So please help me out, and let me know what you all think would work, if the 90 will work reasonably well, I would like to go with that due to having an extra LS1 block that I will be building a bigger motor for next winter...
Another thing, only keep positive responses too, let's not turn it into a flaming match....

LS6 is what I was thinking, just wanted to see if it would totally kill the driveability of it if I put a 90mm on it, is the FAST 78 even much more than the LS6?

It'll still give him a benefit over the LS1, and maybe slightly better than an LS6 on stock stuff. When he builds that nice new motor next year, this is one less expense he needs to put out then.

Exactly what I am thinking...just wanting to make sure it's not gonna dog the motor...
