Default guys running hp tunners

im trying to buy a new lap top but i see that everyone you buy now has windows vista. does hp tunners work on the vista operating system.

I will say that I don't like vista one bit...I had it on the new desktop pc I just purchased & within a week went to xp because of incompatibility & permissions issues with vista. Just food for thought, but I would definitly try to get a laptop with xp on it if you don't have an xp disk that you can load in if you don't care for vista.

i have no desire for vista but every where i look to buy a lap top they all have vista. the only thing i know how to operate on a computer is hp tuners and the internet i dont know how to work any other program. hwer can i find one new with xp

Yeah I noticed that too...looks like they are all preloaded...I think im gonna buy a copy of XP just so I have it handy from now on. You can find copies of the home version for $80-150 usually and you'll always have it.

Vista is annoying, but after a day or so I'm able to navigate thru it fairly well. No worse than relearning to tune with HP after using Edit forever.
