Default Y-pipe clamps ??

I got a 2000 LS1 w/ Pacesetter Long tubes and Pacesetter Y-pipe and as you guys know it comes with the old style 3" clamps and sounds like i have a small leak some where have tighten 3 times and i really dont like these clamps. Didnt know if anyone was using another kind or running a differnt kind of hook up Please chime in

You're talking about the U-clamps right? If so that's what I'm using and I don't have any issues. Then again I could have a small leak and wouldn't hear it over my exhaust.

Yea, I got those shipped with my Pacesetter LT's. the shop I got to install my cam said they were crap, and put some band clamp type clamps on mine. I have no issues with the ones they put on.

I have a buddy who says he has an exhaust leak with his U clamps as well.
