I was looking through my RPO's and found "WS9"-Fomula Option-on it. Right beside that is "Y82-Trans Am Option. I don't understand why it has both??

Your car is formally....
Pontiac Firebird Formula Trans Am. They shrink the name down to Pontiac Trans Am because that's really just too damn long of a name.
Firebird is the base model... Formula option adds a V8 to it... Trans Am package adds the spoiler, front and rear fascias, and all the other Trans Am options. All V8 Firebirds are "Formulas". All Trans Ams are Formulas with the Trans Am (Y82) option.

All Formula's will have the W66 RPO
All Trans Am's will have the Y82 RPO
All Formula's will have the W66 RPO

No The WS9 is the Formula Conversion RPO But W66 is the Formula Merchandise Package And Y82 is the Base Trans Am Merchandise Package.
Each Car will have RPO WS9 and it's corresponding RPO.

Heres a little tid bit of codes trivia for yall
I was looking up the codes for my WS6 when I bought it just to make sure it was a WS6 and not just a clone, well one of the codes caught my attention, I dont remember what it was exactly, but the code description from GM was temporary hood, weird huh

Code is PBT, it was used for delivery to ASC who then fitted the car with the WS6 hood

dont mean to butt in but what if u have a 93 T/A with a Y83 code? what does that mean?
