PE Explaination
Can someone please explain to me PE and how it works? I know that PE stands for Power Enrichment, and according to HPT its used for WOT.
What I dont know is how it actually works. Does it change the air fuel mixture? If so how? Does it just add more fuel and how does it know when to add, does the VE table aid that?
I searched this forum and read most of the Intro documentation but I still cant grasp the concept.
Thanks in advance.

Its pretty simple. When you floor it the PCM knows you are flooring it by the Throttle positon and it will add additional fuel on top of what is already in the MAF/VE tables for stoich which is 14.7 AFR. PE is expressed as a multiplier of stoich, so if your PE table says 1.10 in all the cells, the PCM will be caluclating 13.36 AFR @ WOT because the PCM was adding 1.1 more fuel into the engine (14.7/1.1=13.36)
