ls7 clutch what do i need install?

Default ls7 clutch what do i need install?

hi i am putting in a ls7 clutch kit this weekend i just bougth the kit i was wondering if i needed anything out like a pilot bearing, bolts, or throwout bearing?

what year is your car, if '98-'00 you need to update to the '01-'02 hydraulics, if '01-'02, just a pilot bearing and 4 qts of fluid

its a 00 ss would i still need to upgrade the pilot bearing too

also what would happen if i didnt switch the hydraulics, would it still work

Doing a clutch swap with out getting a new slave cyl. is asking for trouble.

It'll work, but it's highly recomended that you at least switch out the slave cyl. Seriously...just swap out the slave cyl.! I'd also recommend you swap out the pilot bearing even though it's a real pain in the ***.

FYI...my tranny didn't go back in quite as easily as it did before when it had the stock pilot bearing. I think the new pilot bearing caused it to be a little tougher to get back in.

Did your clutch come with an alignment tool? If not where did you get one?

i still have the original stock slave, everything is working great

What he said...also do the drill mod while you have the hydrolics out.
