Default Stock Bottom End Power on LSx Setups

Think if I spray a 100 shot on top of a 445whp n/a setup... stock bottom end? Of course if it's tuned correctly and have proper caution. Think it'll hold?

What kinda tests could I run to insure that I am given my stock bottom end LS1 the best chance at living? Any parts to help it live longer?

I strongly dont recommend it. I have an 02 Z06 w/ some mods making 435 rwhp and I hit it w/ a 100 shot (wet) and I regret it now b/c after the pass at the track I herd a noise, drove home and pulled the head off and my #7 piston was cracked in half but if you do spray it good luck

I should be around your level power-wise this year with the couple new parts and was planning on spraying a wet 125-shot. Matt just scared me a little bit! For every person that hurts something at these power levels, there's at least a couple others who were running fine. I'll take my chances

There's a guy in the nitrous forum that sprayed a 175 shot on his stock bottom end and was making like 590rwhp without trouble.

Correct.

I will not say you will be fine either way, but obviously there are plenty of poeple doing huge shots on the bottom and and have no adverse effects. I will be installing decked 243s and a small cam (looking for close too 400whp/400rwtq) this year and also spraying 100/125 dry on top of that. If I pop a piston, Ill go forged, its a risk I have/am willing to take.
