i'm taking my car to an exhaust shop for them to fix some piping for me, and i was wondering if i were to change the intercooler piping configuration, would that also change the tune as well? the BOV will be relocated as well, but will still be after the intercooler.


i was thinking of going from this:





to something like this:

i dont see how it would, maybe just the speed in which you got the boost...... but i could be wrong

I don't think so...you're not changing the amount of boost you're running. PT driving may be a little different depending on where you put the MAF (don't put right after a bend in the pipes btw), but WOT driving should not be affected at all

I actually just set another forums member up with a setup like in the last two pictures. Ground clearance is the biggest issue with the STS FMIC.

yes, i got those pics from you guys anyways, i can see what you mean by PT driving being affected, but what if the MAF and BOV were about the same distance from the Tb? would changing the direction of the charge through the intercooler have any effect on the intercooler as well?
