Default stock ls1 springs

Can anyone tell me how much lift stock LS1 springs from a '97 C5 will hold?

They are good for NOTHING but a stock cam, and even then they are questionable.

.525" max is what i've always heard...

not many cams fall under that....and if they do...they aren't worth much

I wouldnt use the stock springs on any aftermarket cam what-so-ever. Even the LS6 springs are questionable as far as what they will hold. In my opinion, 918's are the price of admission, and a good dual kit is even better.

Sock springs suck, do not use them with any aftermarket cam. 918 are to cheep to not use them in a cam swap!!!

Honestly, Im not comfortable with the stock springs OR pushrods with a completely stock car. Too much power.
